Josiah and friends have won the war and have been living in peace, but the prophecy for his sons still weighs on him. He is now a father first and foremost and he will not allow one of his sons to die just because a prophesy says he must. The leader of the other island suffers a terrible loss and chooses someone else to take over so that he can disappear. The new person that took over, Brock, seems ok to Josiah but his son Jacob does not like him. When Brocks son becomes really sick he wants Josiah or Jacob to heal him. When Jacob refuses Brock will do everything in his power to try and force him to do it.This book goes through the boys first 18 years of life. Josiah and his family once again have a lot to deal with. Josiah and Lena are having issues. They have the new unpredictable neighbor on the next island to deal with and then one of his sons ends up missing.
My Opinion: I loved it as I do with all of H.T.'s books. Josiah and Lena are the perfect little couple that it was actually nice seeing them have some marital problems just like everyone else. When it comes to the Deity I think that Josiah relies on her just a little too much. I love the boys. They are both very intuitive. I think that this book was one of the better ones in the series and I have high hopes that the next one will be just as good if not better. I highly suggest reading but you do have to read from book one to know what is going on.

This was another AWESOME read from HT NIght! I LOVE this series and I love how we are now seeing the twins grown up and learning what their future holds. HT does a wonderful job with his characters and their interactions. I enjoyed the change in Josiah and in Lena. They have grown as a couple and as parents. GREAT JOB HT! Cant wait for the next installment!
I love all of H.T's work, but this one is one of his best. It's not a stand alone. You'll need to read the rest of the Vampire Love Story series to be able to get this book. His books are reasonably priced, and often free. He's an amazing author. This book gives a lot of background about Josiah and Lena's sons, but its a must read to continue the series. You're left with a cliffhanger, but what good book doesn't?? LOL.
Once again I have found a good book in this story. I found it hard to put it down until the end.
OMG.. I love Josiah and Tommy so much. I do wish Tommy was in the story more or maybe add more books to the Kyro series.
I'm surprised how much time has passed since the last book and can't help but feel like I've missed so much. I love it that Josiah's sons are in the story more now but can't stand to think one has to die to save the world.. I hope it doesn't come to that and somehow Josiah and Tommy can save his life.
Can't wait till the next book is out!!!! Hurry!!!!!
I've been reading all the books in this series plus the entwined series and with this one, its starting to lose my interest. The book reads more like a soap opera in that it just ends without any resolution to the story within THIS book. I know all series books build on each other, but there should be a set story within each book that has a resolution, and this one doesn't. I seriously haven't decided if I will read the next one, which is odd since i'm already 6+ books into a set of characters.
This was one of my favorites of this series...honestly when I read book one I thought to myself that if I hadn't bought the entire box set I would be pretty pissed because each book doesn't end with the exception of book 5 this one was no different but filled with heart felt characters that over each book you fall more in love with. After book 2 I was hooked and I read A LOT I loved that this one goes through each characters lives and catches you up on the boots growing up and their marriage and was nice that it wasn't some perfect love story that it showed the ups and downs of a true marriage and how much work it takes. I am in tears right now because once again this book doesn't end just keeps you hanging and just as much as it drives me nuts I couldn't stop reason the series if I swore never to read again LOL love these characters and it has been a long time that I've felt so connected to a series and its characters. Going on now to see if the next book is out already and I just might cry if it isn't!
Ok. Wow! I need to make this review pretty quick because in typical H.T. Night fashion, this book ended with a cliffhanger. A huge cliffhanger!! I absolutely must start the 7th book immediately and, as luck would have it, the new one was just released a few days ago! I never leave many details of the story in my reviews because I think it's better that the readers are genuinely surprised when they begin a book. I will warn you however that this book is much different than the first 5. There's not quite as much action and very little romance (not saying that's a bad thing). This story takes you on a journey into the future when the twins are turning 18. You ride along with Josiah as he remembers key moments throughout the last 18 years that lead up to the cliffhanger that ends book 6. I really enjoyed how informative this was and cannot wait to begin Sons of Josiah. If you've kept pace up until now, you won't want to skip this one!! Well done again, H.T.!!
